Annual Clay Day at The Royal Sandringham Estate
by gracious permission of His Majesty The King

Message From Bob Champion CBE
I am delighted that Bob Champion Cancer Trust have been nominated as Charity of the Year for this year's prestigious Annual Clay Day being held on Friday 16th August 2024 by gracious permission of His Majesty The King at The Royal Sandringham Estate.

The Trust have joined forces with HOLTS Auctioneers not only for the Annual Clay Day but to also help us raise valuable funds now and in the future via the HOLTS Charity Lots Programme. This programme provides a solution for when it's time to retire your guns, or simply make space in the cabinet. All proceeds from the sale of guns and accessories will support our vital pioneering prostate cancer research laboratories at The Institute of Cancer Research and The University of East Anglia.

HOLTS have many years of experience handling the collection and sale of guns and related items in a sensitive and discreet way. They are also happy to advise on leaving a gun in your will to benefit a good cause. Regular valuation days are held throughout the UK. These days are hosted by two experienced members of HOLTS staff, who will be able to tell you something about the item you have brought along. They will then suggest a realistic catalogue estimate and reserve, if you are mindful to sell, together with a likely hammer price. HOLTS will not charge any sellers fees for items donated to the Bob Champion Cancer Trust via their Charity Lots Programme and will pay the sale proceeds directly to the Trust.
More information, sale and valuation day dates and venues are available at or email David Thurgood
